Blooms Revised Taxonomy

Focusing on its commitment to promoting high-quality teaching and deeper learning through the Educators’ Development Program, NPS Hosur Road conducted an engaging professional development session on Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy. The workshop enabled teachers to design learning experiences that move beyond rote memorization to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and higher-order thinking skills. Through collaborative discussions, hands-on activities, lesson design challenges, and subject-specific task creation, educators explored the six cognitive levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy and their application in classroom instruction. The session empowered teachers to craft meaningful questions, purposeful learning activities, and effective assessments that actively engage students and nurture confident, independent, and lifelong learners.
