Mrs. Nirmala Mohan is a diligent and enthusiastic teacher with more than two decades of experience; she was the Head of the Department and Senior Secondary faculty at NPS Koramangala for 17 years. She holds a Master’s Degree and Bachelors in Education to her credit.
Adept in teaching both ICSE and CBSE curriculum she is a passionate educationist. Her career of 24 years in teaching spans across prestigious institutions such as Bishop Cotton Boys School and National Public School. She is a task master and popularly known for executing academic and co-curricular programs in a unique and innovative manner. She is dedicated in providing a well - balanced, supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. A Hardworking teaching professional who strives to collaborate with all members of the school community to meet students’ needs and promote the philosophy of the school.
She believes that a positive learning climate in a school is a composite of many things such as - a place where children receive guidance and encouragement from the responsible adults around them and an environment where children can experiment new ideas without the fear of failure.
The first five years of a child’s life is the most critical since their brain is most receptive to learning during this time. It is the kindergarten years therefore that set the pace and play a significant role in shaping a child’s well-being, growth, development and learning. Mrs. Sajitha Murali, our kindergarten Mentor, who has 20 years of teaching experience, seven of which has been spent in NPS institutions, is committed to offer a positive and conducive environment to the children during these crucial years.
A Teachers Training Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to her credit, this educationist has a special interest in encouraging and facilitating the “play-way method of learning” at NPS Hosur Road.
Anjana Vinod has been at the forefront of implementing the Montessori Method of Teaching in various schools. She has been enthusiastically experimenting in potential optimisation of best practices across NPS schools, being particularly instrumental in revamping the Language programme implemented in the Montessori.
A faculty at the Indian Montessori Training Centre, she mentors teachers and guides them on the effective adoption of the Montessori curriculum. Having completed her Primary and Elementary Training in the Montessori Method, she has worked with children for more than two decades, particularly in the age group between 2½ to 12 years.
Anjana Vinod, who also holds The Cambridge International Certification in Teaching and Learning, brings her comprehensive knowledge and learning in the Montessori method to NPS Hosur Road.
