NPS HRD Shines at the Smriti Academy All India Federated Chess Championship!

National Public School, Hosur Road, proudly celebrates an exceptional achievement at the Smriti Academy All India Federated Chess Championship, held on 11th July 2026, which brought together 900+ talented young chess players from across Karnataka.

A special round of applause to Shashini Puvi (Grade 8) for securing First Place in the Under-16 Girls Category, showcasing remarkable strategic thinking, determination, and excellence.

Our heartfelt congratulations also go to the 35 students from Grades 1 to 9 who represented NPS HRD with outstanding sportsmanship, resilience and competitive spirit throughout the championship.

Adding to this proud moment, NPS HRD was honoured with the Second-Best Institute Award, a testament to our students' collective brilliance and the school's unwavering commitment to nurturing talent beyond the classroom.
