NPS Hosur Road campus came alive on Friday, 9th October, as the school celebrated Dussehra with colour, music and devotion. The day was a reminder that good always triumphs, and that it is even more rewarding when celebrated together.
The celebrations began with a soulful invocation, setting a serene and reverent tone for the day. The mood soon turned vibrant with a spirited dandiya performance by our Grade 3 students, whose graceful twirls, rhythmic steps and tiny decorated sticks won the hearts of everyone present.
The energy then gave way to calm as devotional bhajans filled the hall, bringing students and teachers together in a moment of peace and reflection. The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasad, shared among all as a gesture of gratitude and goodwill.
A spectacular Golu display, contributed to by everyone in the school community, graced the campus for a whole week, and students visited it throughout with wide eyes and gleeful delight.
As Dussehra also marked the last day of school before the vacation, the day ended on a heartfelt note. Teachers showered their blessings on the students and exchanged warm wishes for the break ahead, a fitting close to a festival of light, goodness and togetherness.
Wishing the entire NPS HRD family a very happy Vijayadashami and a joyful vacation!
