This short introductory session introduced Grade 5 students to collaborative storytelling and tabletop role-playing in small groups of five led by the facilitator Ms Tharunya Balan. The five groups represented the elements of Nature- Storm, Earth, Fire, Water and Air.

In each group, students took responsibility for a simple character with three core traits — Strength, Wit, and Speed and worked together to make decisions by, investigating, and acting that shapes a short, shared adventure, resolved through simple dice rolls.

This activity is designed to build teamwork, verbal expression, decision-making. The rotating action through the session ensured that no student was left out, and each one participated in the collaborative storytelling exercise. It gave every student the opportunity to express themselves through the character more freely.
