1. Is the school affiliated with the CBSE Board?

2. For which Grades, is admission available for the Academic Year 2027-2028?

  • For NPS: From Grade 1 to Grade XI
  • For GMC:
    i) From Pre-KG to KG 2
    ii) From Mont Toddlers to Mont 3

3. What is the admission process?

The first step in registration for admission is to submit the completed application form. Kindly check the “Admission” link on the website for details.

4. What is the age criterion for admission?

As of 1st June 2026, the applicant has to be 6+ years for Grade 1.

5. Is there a proficiency assessment for admission?

The Entrance test is applicable only from Grade 2 onwards. Students are required to take a Student Proficiency Assessment (SPA), which will be based on the syllabus as follows:

  • Gr 2-10: English, Mathematics, and Science
  • Gr 11 - Based on the stream applying for:
    • Commerce: Commercial Aptitude, Mathematics
    • Science: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
    • Humanities: English, Social Science

A meeting involving both parents and students will be held before the announcement of the final admission results.

6. When will I know if my ward has secured admission?

We aim to complete the admission process and inform applicants of the outcome within two weeks of the Entrance Assessment conducted.

7. What documents must be submitted for securing admission?

SATS TC to be submitted for Karnataka Students. Students from other states shall provide the TC issued by the concerned Authorities.

Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Previous Year Report Card, 3 photographs each of the student and both parents. For Gr 8 and above, the Study Certificate must also be submitted.

8. Do you have a sibling policy?

No, whilst we encourage siblings to join the school, we do not offer any discounts for siblings. Siblings have to also undertake the Student Proficiency Assessment (SPA).

9. What is the fee and when is it payable?

School fees must be paid in one instalment during the fee payment window from the third week of March to the first week of April every year. The fee has to be paid by Demand Draft or via the official online payment link. Fees once paid are non-refundable. Late payment will attract penalty. Annual fee revisions may apply as per school policy.

10. What are the school timings?

For Grades 1-10: 8:10 AM to 2:50 PM with a mid-morning snack break and an afternoon lunch break.

11. What is the average student strength of a class?

Each class would have an average of 30-32 students. The student-teacher ratio will be 15:1.

12. How are students allocated to different sections?

Students are placed in heterogeneous (mixed-ability) sections to ensure a balanced learning environment. Each section comprises students with varied academic abilities, learning styles, interests, and backgrounds. The school does not group students based solely on academic performance; therefore, there are no exclusive "high-achieving" sections.

13. Can we request a tour of the school campus?

As NPS HRD is a fully functional school, campus tours for parents and others are not allowed for security reasons.

14. What are the vacation schedules?

  • Summer break is in April/May.
  • Dasara vacations in September/October.
  • Winter vacations in December.

The holiday schedule for the academic year will be mentioned in the school Almanac.

15. Does the school facilitate the procurement of uniforms?

Parents can purchase the uniforms from the authorised uniform dealer.

16. Does the school have a house system?

Yes, students will be allocated to one of our four Houses: Challengers, Pioneers, Explorers, or Voyagers, and will remain in that House throughout their time at NPS HRD.

17. What is the school communication system?
