The primary motto of National Sports Day is to mark the journey of all the athletes and players who contributed their full effort in making India proud. It is celebrated in India on 29th of August on the birth anniversary of the hockey player Major Dhyan Chand Singh.
NPS, Hosur Road celebrated this day in exuberance. The honoured guests, Ms. Sajitha Murali– KG coordinator and Ms. Nuthan – State level Hockey player from GMC, were rendered a warm welcome for this awaited celebration.
The program comprised of various events as quiz, speech, song, dance. Dancers set the stage on fire with their mesmerizing performance. Sports - spirited kids across all grades showcased their talents with their moves. Ms Nuthan motivated all the students with her eloquent speech.
All the students and staff members congratulated the sports department for their dedication and commitment to the school.
