National Public School, Hosur Road, celebrated National Sports Day 2026 with an energetic and enthusiastic sporting spirit, bringing alive the theme “Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat” – Play India, Win India.

The celebration focused on the joy of participation, teamwork, fitness and sportsmanship, reminding our students that sports are not merely about winning a game, but about learning to compete with confidence, accept challenges, respect opponents and never give up.

Our young learners from Grade 5 enjoyed specially planned fun games, encouraging them to run, play, collaborate and experience the sheer joy of being active.

Students from Grades 8 and 9 participated in Football, Throwball and Basketball, bringing energy, enthusiasm and healthy competition to the playground. The games showcased impressive teamwork, coordination, agility and determination. Every pass, every goal, every point and every cheer reflected the true spirit of sportsmanship.

The celebration also featured a Sports Quiz, giving students an opportunity to test their knowledge of sporting legends, events and achievements while celebrating India’s rich sporting legacy.

The day was a wonderful reminder that every child is a sportsperson in the making—whether they aspire to win a championship or simply enjoy playing with friends. Through sports, children learn valuable life lessons: discipline, resilience, leadership, cooperation and the courage to try again.
