NPS Hosur Road, declares itself as the protector of environment by reaffirming ‘No Plastic Zone’ inside the campus, its pioneer resolution, effective since its birth. Senior students highlighted the theme of Beat Plastic Pollution, in their address during the school assembly. A ppt detailing the means of effective handling and destruction of plastics was watched by all students in their classrooms. All the bulletin boards exhibited the individual role of humans in curtailing the use of plastics and solutions to reduce its use. Creative activities like, Poster making, just a minute speech, role play, group discussions and presentations were conducted in all classes. Worldwide this year the spotlight is on plastic pollution, urging communities to confront this mounting crisis and take collective action to safeguard the planet for future generations.
