Reverence and Joy mark Independence Day Ceremonies

On the occasion of Independence Day, on Tuesday, 15th August 2023, NPS Hosur Road, reaffirmed its commitment in ensuring to preserve the freedom of the land, in memory of all the known and unknown freedom fighters of our blessed Nation. The Chief Guest, Colonel Sri Ravi Shanmugam, graced the occasion and hoisted the National Flag. Colonel Shanmugam's address to the assembly was a source of inspiration for all, echoing the spirit of resilience and dedication that shaped the nation's history. The event saw a distinguished gathering, including the Management Trustee, Director – Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinators of NPS Hosur Road. Their presence not only added significance to the ceremony but also underlined the school's commitment to nurturing values of patriotism and responsibility among its students.

Ms. Deepti Parlia, Hindi teacher, motivated the assembly with a heart-warming and patriotic speech. The celebration was an artistic amalgamation of emotions, colour, and zeal. Arnav, a talented student from grade 3, captivated the audience with a soul-stirring solo performance, reminding everyone of the essence of independence. The collective energy and enthusiasm of students from grades 4 to 7 manifested in a spirited group dance that filled the air with infectious joy.

The school's commitment to fostering talent and unity was further evident in the group song presented by students from grades 8 and 9. Under the guidance of the Music Department, their harmonious voices echoed a united resolve to uphold the nation's legacy.

As the event concluded, Alina Mondal, the School Prefect, extended heartfelt gratitude to all who had contributed to the event's success. Her words resonated with appreciation for the collective effort that made the celebration possible. Hosting the program with grace and vigour were Anika and Pavitra, students from the Middle section. Their dynamic presence added a youthful and energetic touch to the proceedings, exemplifying the school's commitment to nurturing leadership and confidence.

The entire event was meticulously orchestrated by the Hindi Department, a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines NPS Hosur Road. As the 76th Independence Day came to a close, the school community stood united, inspired to carry forward the legacy of freedom and progress that the nation's heroes had entrusted to their hands.
