‘Students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow’
The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith, and the mantle of responsibilities to the newly appointed students.
Nurturing students to be future leaders, National Public School, Hosur Road held its First Investiture Ceremony 2022-23 on 6th July 2022 to bestow the deserving students with responsibility of leading the school with honour and diligence. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of our Respected Trustee Mr. Mahesh Reddy, Director-Principal Mrs. Usha Mahesh Reddy and Vice-Principal Mrs. Nirmala Mohan and Ms. Anjana Mentor- Glow Montessori Centre.
The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the auspicious lamp followed by a welcome address by Ms. Ashwini. To invoke the blessings of God the Almighty a melodious rendition by the bards of the school filled the assembly area with great fervour. A mesmerising dance by the students held everyone captive to their performance.
The Prefect and Captains were introduced to the gathering. Then, the newly elected council members and the presidents of various clubs, marched spritely and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to receive their badges, sash, and flags from the dignitaries. The Student Council, led by Prefect Sara Gupta administered the oath with a promise that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence.
The ceremony was flagged off with an inspiring speech given by the vice principal who congratulated the newly appointed school council members.
The event was joined by students, teachers, and the other staff members. The occasion proved to be an exhilarating moment for all the office bearers who were filled with zeal and zest to take up their duties upholding the principles of the school motto – “Reach Out, Reach High, Reach Beyond”!
