Makara Sankranti was celebrated in school on 13 January, 2023. The Pongal pot with sugarcane and kites were part of the decoration for this harvest festival. The Sankranti celebrations at school began with the students singing song related to the harvest festival and the teachers educated the students on the importance of celebrating the harvest festival Makar Sankranti. A cow and its calf were brought to the school ground and pooja was performed. The children enjoyed watching and fly kites.
