The festival of Onam was celebrated by the children, who brought flowers in innumerable colours for the pookallam decoration.

After participating in the decoration of the flower carpet the children enjoyed listening to the story of Mahabali and sang songs to welcome the king followed by performance of Thiruvathira around the pookallam.
