National Science Day is emblazoned in India on 28th February every year to enshrine the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, in 1928. The day is observed to promulgate cognizance about the centrality of science and its contributions to the confederation. The celebration of National Science Day in school is a crucial event that helps in promoting scientific temper among students. Our ever unflinching students showed their interest in Science through many activities like Carbon footprint, talking about Science and its importance, poster making and so on. The venturous students illuminated everyone about the fact that science has contributed significantly to the development of society and has the potential to solve some of the world’s most prevailing problems, such as climate change, food security, and healthcare.
National Public School, Hosur Road invariably believe that promoting scientific knowledge among students helps in creating a pool of talented and skilled scientists who can drive innovation and research in various fields, therefore strive to encourage them through various science celebrations. This Science Day let’s pledge to read our Vedas, Upanishads, Epics and texts works of Charak, Sushrita, Aryabhata, understand them and patent the research based on the intellect so old and show the globe that India is still made up of Gold.
